Amy's Answers was born in early 1993 when a friend and I were brainstorming a name for my consulting business that, at the time, was a bit of craft, some dentistry, with some computer thrown in for good measure.  I was a computer infant back in those days, but quickly growing into a computer guru as computers became an all-consuming passion. She said that I always have the answers...and that is when the light bulb went off.

Amy's Answers was born

Amy's Answers became an LLC in 1997 and took on a definite computer flavor when I shifted from operating a dental lab to installing operating systems. My interest in crafts (mainly knitting) shifted from knitting to running a knit list for machine knitters, now in its 13th year of continuous operation; 11 years from the basement of my home where we went from a dialup connection in 1997 to an ISDN connection in 1998 to commercial DSL in 2003.

I am an independent computer consultant who specializes in small and medium business solutions. Those solutions include supply chain logistics, operations management, networking, security, acceptable use policies, hardware evaluation and installation, software evaluation and installation.  My typical client is looking for good value and is very results oriented.
